Monster Grouper Rig

Designed for fish 3 to 15 pounds (Yellow Eye, Black and Queen Snappers), however this rig has caught many 40 plus pound groupers.

Features:

1. Main Line is 480# test stainless steel 49-strand cable. A shark may steal a fish but your rig will be spared!
2. Stainless steel 350# test lockfast swivel. Your weight will be safe and free to spin.
3. 6 Mustad 14/0 Circle Hooks. We only use cadium plated Mustad circle hooks.
4. A 350# test barrel swivel located in the mid section of main line allows for main to rotate in two directions as fish are brought up and avoids memory or twists.
5. We use only high quality luminous beads to attract fish.
6. High quality nickel swivels connect the main line to the leaders. Double action allows the leader to spin while also allowing the leader to rotate around the main.
7. Heat shrink tubing protects all sleeves on the main and eliminates hand cuts while handling the rig.
8. Only heavy-duty oval copper double sleeves assemble the main line.
9. We only use 350# test leader for longevity and abrasion protection.
10. All leaders are secured using brass double sleeves.
